Founder: David SnellingRegistered Charity No: 1085021 The Operation Henry Trust is the foremost charity leading the way in patient care and support for those affected by pancreatic cancer. Although great strides have been made in treating other cancer types such as breast, testicular and prostate, with subsequent improvements in survival rates, pancreatic cancer receives little or no attention. Three per cent survival rate Today, the long term survival rate of those diagnosed with pancreatic cancer remains at three per cent – the same as it was 40 years ago. Operation Henry is there to help not only those affected by the debilitating disease but also to give much needed support to their families. The charity facilitates services for treatment of the cancer such as transport to health centres and medical appointments and providing respite and treats to patients and their families. To this end, the charity liaises with specialist oncology and Macmillan nurses working in conjunction with seven hospitals across the South West. Donations By supporting The Operation Henry Trust you will provide a much valued contribution to the work we do. |
